About Us

I’m Jessica, the owner of Sapphire Sweets and Savory, and my passion for baking began with my Easy-Bake Oven!

Over time, I have developed a love for creating custom cakes and treats, while also appreciating the simplicity of traditional favorites. I’ve learned to master the discipline required to craft Parisian-inspired desserts and artisan chocolates. 

After completing my undergraduate degree at Purdue University, I decided to pursue baking full-time and enrolled in culinary school. My education, along with over a decade of experience in retail and restaurant sales, ahs equipped me to provide my clients with a comprehensive experience, from tastings to cake cutting.

In 2021, I fulfilled my dream of crafting French pastries at a world-class patisserie that frequently served the French Embassy. Alongside my passion for baking, my first love is my family. I’m a proud mother to an amazing son and happily married to my guiding force of a husband. 

Looking ahead, I plan to delve into manufacturing and pursue certification as a Pastry Chef. My goal is to inspire the culinary interests of young people.
